Success as an experienced Service Electrician involves effectively diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, providing valuable consultation to customers about their needs and desires, offering guidance on safety concerns related to home electrical systems, and guiding customers toward well-informed and confident decisions. This role will be working in both residential and commercial settings.

  • Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.
  • Reconciling all books
  • Enter day-to-day financial transactions, including vendor management, PO’s, billing, sales, receipts, and payments, into the accounting system.
  • Manage and maintain the general ledger by organizing financial data and ensuring accurate and up-to-date entries.
  • Handle accounts payable by recording and paying bills on time.
  • Manage accounts receivable by invoicing clients and tracking and collecting payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements with the company’s financial records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Track and categorize expenses, ensuring that all expenditures are properly documented and accounted for.
  • Listen attentively to customer needs and schedule service appointments, including making outbound calls to meet daily call requirements.
  • Convert incoming customer calls into booked service appointments, ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
  • Schedule and dispatch technicians based on predetermined schedules, customer requests, or immediate needs.
  • Relay pertinent information, such as technician progress, to both managers and customers.
  • Engage with supervisors or customers to resolve issues, address service requests, or fulfill equipment needs.
  • Prepare daily work schedules and work orders for technicians, organizing records including completed work requests, charges, expenses, and inventory information.
  • Maintain and update the customer database with complete and accurate information.
  • Complete all general electrical in-home service calls.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in residential settings.
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and components.
  • Perform electrical inspections to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with electrical codes.
  • Install and connect electrical appliances, fixtures, and devices.
  • Upgrade and replace outdated or faulty electrical systems.
  • Take charge of overseeing and handling various commercial projects.
  • Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and related equipment (up to 480 volts).
  • Ensure strict adherence to the current National Electric Code.
  • Wire, inspect, and test electrical system components such as transformers, transfer switches, and switch gears.
  • Specialize in office buildouts, remodels, and new wiring projects.
  • Effectively use blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer’s installation manuals for project completion.
  • Conduct surveys of electrical systems, circuits, and plans.
  • Maintain accurate digital records and pictures documenting work performed and materials used.
  • Ensure the safe and proper functioning of electrical equipment.
  • Test electrical systems using specialized tools to identify and repair faults.
  • Establish customer trust and rapport to provide the best options regarding the right products and services.
  • Maintained a clean, organized job site and well-organized truck.
  • Participate actively in all trainings and meetings.
