Key Duties for the Plumbing Purchaser:
- Efficiently prepare and process orders for plumbing parts and equipment based on Purchase Orders.
- Foster robust relationships with distributors, suppliers, and in-house teams.
- Evaluate products and distributors by essential criteria: quality, price, availability, and more.
- Negotiate with vendors for the best prices and ensure consistent product invoicing.
- Monitor and forecast inventory, while maintaining the accuracy of materials processed.
- Ensure monthly vendor statements are accurate before approval.
- Collaborate actively with vendors and industry peers.
What you’ll bring as the Plumbing Purchaser:
- 3+ years of purchasing experience in plumbing.
- 2+ years as a proven leader in a management or lead role in parts purchasing
- Knowledge of inventory monitoring and forecasting.
- Proficiency in the plumbing and residential services sector.
- Service Titan experience preferred.
