Job Opportunity: Call Center Representative

We are currently hiring a Call Center Representative to join our family-owned and locally operated company, serving Lancaster, York, Lebanon, Berks, Dauphin, and Chester Counties since 1904. Responsibilities of the Call Center Representative:

  • Listen to customer needs, book service appointments, and place outbound calls to schedule appointments.
  • Convert incoming customer calls to booked service appointments while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Handle calls, texts, and online requests from customers.
  • Place outbound calls to current and past customers for additional service appointments.
  • Resolve customer complaints quickly and favorably, following the company’s plan.
  • Answer multiple phone lines, assist customer inquiries, and schedule appointments.
  • Maintain and update the customer database with accurate information.
  • Communicate with call center, dispatch, and management.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
  • Perform other clerical duties as assigned.

 

Requirements for the Call Center Representative:

  • Customer service experience in Home Services preferred.
  • Willingness to work in-office; this is not a remote role.
  • Proficient computer skills, good typist, and familiarity with phone systems.
  • Ownership mentality, reliability, and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
  • Strong communication skills with customers, technicians, and management.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with ease and empathy.
  • Excellent multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Desire to contribute to the team’s success.
