HVAC Service Manager

Success in this role involves:

  • Being an exceptional leader, empowering and guiding our HVAC service team to achieve their utmost potential.
  • Providing technical expertise and training to elevate your team’s skills and knowledge.
  • Setting and measuring performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Upholding the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensuring team members are held accountable to company policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Coaching and developing technicians to perform assigned work efficiently.
  • Utilizing reporting tools to identify opportunities for improvement and provide performance feedback.
  • Conducting recurring training meetings on repair techniques, safety, best practices, and more.
  • Reviewing and approving work order repair proposals.
  • Meeting with residents to resolve escalations and ensure repairs are completed satisfactorily.
  • Acting as a technical expert to guide technicians.
  • Providing direct field support as needed.
  • Reporting and monitoring maintenance deficiencies and equipment failure trends.
  • Participating in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new technicians.

Key Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of previous experience in HVAC or related trade.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a supervisor.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in HVAC systems.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. *Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance.
