In this hands-on role as a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice, you’ll gain valuable experience servicing, inspecting, and repairing fire sprinkler systems for our established customers, ensuring their safety and compliance with industry standards. We’ll provide the training and mentorship you need to become a licensed, certified Fire Sprinkler technician.

As a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice, you will:

  • Learn to conduct service calls: Gain hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing fire sprinkler systems under the guidance of experienced technicians, developing your skills in identifying code and non-conformance issues.
  • Develop expertise in NFPA 25 codes: Receive comprehensive training in interpreting and applying NFPA 25 codes during testing and inspections, ensuring you’re equipped with the knowledge to meet industry standards.
  • Train in fire pump flow tests: Build your knowledge and, potentially, hands-on experience in conducting fire pump flow tests, a valuable skill in the fire protection industry.
  • Master service documentation: Learn to create accurate, detailed, and timely service tickets and reports, ensuring thorough documentation of your work and contributing to efficient operations.
  • Enhance communication skills: Develop your ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, explaining technical details in a way that fosters understanding and trust.

Qualifications for the Fire Sprinkler Apprentice:

  • Proven experience using hand tools like pipe wrenches, channel locks, and drills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Clean driving record with 3 or fewer points.
  • Ability and willingness to work nights and weekends for emergency service calls.
  • A strong desire to gain knowledge about fire suppression systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with a focus on clear and detailed reporting.
  • Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
