Qualifications for the Commercial HVAC Service Technician:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in servicing and maintaining Commercial systems.
- Strong knowledge of split systems, commercial equipment, and controls.
- Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
- EPA/NATE/OSHA certification is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities for the Commercial HVAC Service Technician:
- Service, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems (split, rooftop, packaged units)
- Demonstrate expertise with Boilers, Cooling Towers, VFDs, and Water Source Heat Pumps
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues
- Install and replace HVAC equipment and components
- Perform preventive maintenance to optimize system performance and longevity
- Respond promptly and efficiently to service calls
- Collaborate effectively with team members
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
- Handle refrigerants safely and in compliance with environmental guidelines
