  • Follow up on sales bids and leads, offering additional information as needed
  • Conduct post-sale follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Overcome technical and business objections of prospective customers
  • Emphasize salable features, quotes, prices, and credit terms
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Participate in various sales activities, including trade shows and referral groups
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Maintain communication with dispatch, managers, and teams
  • Repair air conditioning, heating, and control systems
  • Provide preventative maintenance on residential HVAC systems
  • Build strong customer relationships
  • Perform timely and quality repairs
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC components
  • Keep company truck and inventory updated
  • Complete paperwork and maintain a professional appearance
  • Educate customers on finance options and maintenance plans
  • Replace heating, air conditioning, or refrigeration equipment or complete systems
  • Test electrical circuits and components for continuity, using electrical test equipment
  • Test pipe or tubing joints and connections for leaks, using a pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution
  • Join pipes or tubing to the equipment and to the fuel, water, or refrigerant source to form a complete circuit
  • Lay out and connect electrical wiring between the controls and equipment according to the wiring diagram
  • Install, connect, and adjust thermostats, humidistats, and timers
  • Install furnaces, heat pumps, and other related appliances
  • Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures
  • Inspect and test systems to verify compliance with plans and specifications and detect malfunctions
