A successful Commercial Refrigeration Technician is a skilled troubleshooter and problem solver, consistently delivering reliable repairs and maintenance on a variety of commercial refrigeration systems. Responsibilities of the Commercial Refrigeration Technician:
- Skillfully service and maintain a wide range of commercial refrigeration equipment, ensuring precise operation and peak performance.
- Troubleshoot issues on commercial ice machines and refrigeration systems.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve complex refrigeration system issues, minimizing downtime and maximizing customer satisfaction.
- Conduct thorough preventative maintenance checks, identifying potential problems before they occur and extending the lifespan of valuable equipment.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, communicating clearly and professionally throughout the entire process, from diagnosis to repair.
- Build lasting relationships with clients through your expertise and dedication.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance via service software.
Requirements of the Commercial Refrigeration Technician:
- At least 3 years working with high-end luxury commercial refrigerators and freezers.
- Required experience includes Refrigerators, Coolers, Freezers, Ice Machines, Walk-In Coolers, Display cases and cabinets, and Undercounter refrigerators.
- EPA Certification is required.
- A solid understanding of how refrigeration systems and their parts work.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and extremely tech-savvy.
- Epass appliance service software experience/knowledge is a plus!
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must own hand tools.
- Ability to work on-call rotation.
- Ability to work well on your own and with others.
- Skilled at finding and fixing problems quickly and efficiently.
- A valid license with a clean driving history.
