Job Title: HVAC Service/Warranty Technician
Are you an experienced HVAC Technician with excellent diagnostic and customer service skills? We are seeking a highly motivated HVAC Service/Warranty Technician who excels at both repair and sales. As an HVAC Service/Warranty Technician, you will be responsible for effectively diagnosing and repairing a variety of residential HVAC equipment, regardless of warranty status. A critical part of your role will be to identify repair opportunities, educate customers on long-term replacement options (unit flips), and maintain high performance and conversion rates.
Responsibilities and Expectations:

Effectively diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC equipment, including both warranty and non-warranty units.

Serve as both a service and sales expert, converting repair opportunities into replacement sales (unit flips) when appropriate.

Educate customers on the condition of their equipment and clearly present replacement options.

Maintain high performance and conversion rates as a key to advancement within the company.

Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication during all service calls.

Maintain a service vehicle and inventory, ensuring tools and equipment are in working order.

Adhere to all safety protocols, company procedures, and industry best practices.
Requirements:

2-3 years experience as an HVAC Service Technician, demonstrating strong diagnostic and technical skills.

Demonstrated sales ability and comfort with presenting replacement options to customers.

Ability to sell new units (unit flips) is highly desired.

Certifications (EPA, NATE, etc.) are preferred but not strictly necessary.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Must be able to pass a background check and maintain a clean driving record.

Competitive Compensation: $25 – $35 per hour with OTE of $115,000 – $130,000 through commission.

The compensation for this position is expected to range between $25.00 – $35.00 per hour, plus significant commission. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.
