Job Title: Residential Lead Plumber

In your role as the Residential Lead Plumber, you will be the primary technical expert responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of residential plumbing systems. You will lead by example in the field, ensuring all service work meets the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and code compliance.
Responsibilities and Expectations

Lead and execute advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on all residential plumbing systems, including water heaters, fixtures, drain cleaning, re-piping, and sewer lines.

Act as the senior technical resource on the service team, providing expert guidance and mentorship to less experienced technicians during complex service calls.

Ensure all service work adheres strictly to local plumbing codes, industry standards, and safety protocols.

Provide exceptional customer service by clearly explaining system issues, repair options, and upgrade solutions to homeowners.

Utilize company-provided iPad and smartphone for efficient service documentation, work order management, and professional communication.

Ensure the company vehicle is fully stocked, organized, and properly maintained.

Complete all service-related paperwork accurately and promptly, including closeout documents and detailed reports.
Requirements

Required: 3-5 years of experience in residential service plumbing and repair.

P-2 (Plumbing and Piping Limited) License is REQUIRED.

Demonstrated experience in taking ownership of jobs, providing high-level diagnostics, and leadership or mentoring.

Strong technical knowledge of residential plumbing systems, including water, waste, and vent systems.

Proficiency with technology, including using an iPad and company smartphone for daily job management.

Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.

The compensation for this position is expected to range between $30.00 – $45.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, licensing, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.
