Licensed Service Plumber
Location: Charlotte, NC
Position Overview
We are seeking a tech-savvy, skilled Service Plumber to join our residential service team in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and install residential plumbing systems while providing an outstanding, customer-focused service experience in homeowners’ residences.

Responsibilities and Expectations

Perform diagnostic troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance, and replacement for residential plumbing systems across the Charlotte area

Maintain clear, professional communication with homeowners, explaining technical issues and solution options clearly and transparently.

Daily utilization of core business apps and tech tools (e.g., Auto, Navigate AI, ADP, BambooHR, and Slack) for dispatching, time tracking, job management, and team collaboration.

Complete a comprehensive 2-week onboarding program, including team lead shadowing, proprietary software integration, company SOPs, and fair housing training.

Engage actively in weekly team meetings, quarterly in-person training sessions, and bi-weekly 1-on-1 performance check-ins with management.

Manage company purchasing responsibly using provided company credit cards and Home Depot cards for job materials.

Maintain, stock, and safely operate a company-provided service van.

Maintain flexibility to occasionally assist with residential field inspections or cross-functional tasks during peak demand periods or onboarding.
Requirements

Active Master Plumber License is required

Proven experience in residential service, repair, and diagnostic plumbing.

Strong technology skills are required; comfortable navigating multiple mobile applications daily for workflow and communications

Must possess standard personal plumbing hand tools (specialty tools, press tools such as ProPress, and heavy equipment are company-provided or preferred if owned).

Excellent interpersonal skills, coachable, and eager to participate in active career development.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR), and willingness to complete pre-employment background and drug screenings.
What Can We Do for You?

Competitive compensation of $30.00–$45.00/hour (based on experience) plus quarterly performance bonuses

$100/month stipend ($50 per paycheck) added automatically to cover tools, personal maintenance, or individual needs.

Take-home service van, company gas card, company credit card, and Home Depot purchasing card provided.

Paid Time Off (PTO) & Sick Time: Accrued PTO capping at ~120 hours annually, plus separate dedicated sick leave.

Structured leadership with bi-weekly 1-on-1s, weekly team meetings, ongoing tech training, and clear pathways to discuss performance and future career goals.
The base compensation for this position is expected to range between $30.00 – $45.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.
