Job Title: Electrician

In your role as an Electrician, you will be responsible for testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and properly repairing and installing electrical components in support of residential homes as well as some commercial clients. You will use your customer service training to educate and assist customers, ensuring every job meets or exceeds local codes and customer expectations.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Test, inspect, troubleshoot, and properly repair and install electrical components, wiring, and fixtures.

  • Know local electrical codes and apply them in a practical manner on every job, ensuring all work meets or exceeds code compliance standards.

  • Utilize customer service training to educate and assist customers, clearly presenting service options and recommending appropriate upgrades or repairs to drive sales.

  • Successfully draw and read simple wiring diagrams and trace installed wire.

  • Install electrical hardware such as junction boxes, circuit breaker units, and other electrical components.

  • Maintain a focus on safety, complying with all company and federal safety rules, policies, and procedures, including wearing required safety equipment.

  • Communicate and consult effectively with inspectors, suppliers, co-workers, and customers to ensure correct project work.

  • Complete paperwork accurately and promptly, ensuring productivity and code compliance minimums are met or exceeded.

  • Be a self-starter, willing to pursue, develop, and participate in continuing education.

Requirements

 

  • Required: 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Service Technician

  • ServiceTitan experience is a plus.

  • High school diploma/GED.

  • Knowledgeable of current electrical codes and able to successfully complete a mathematical aptitude evaluation.

  • Tech savvy: Must be able to use an iPad and cell phone.

  • Must be 21 years or older.

  • Must obtain a valid state driver’s license and maintain a reasonable driving record

  • Willing and able to complete pre-employment criminal and financial background.

  • Physical Requirements: Able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds without assistance; able to work outdoors in all weather conditions; able to perform work on uneven surfaces; frequently climb ladders, work from various heights, and in confined spaces such as attics; must be capable of bending, reaching, crouching, climbing, crawling, walking, standing, and sitting for long periods.

  • Able to work five (5) days per week with availability for on-call rotating schedule.

  • Competitive Pay: $24.00 – $35.00/hr with an On-Target Earning (OTE) potential of $70,000 – $125+,000 annually for top earners.

The compensation for this position is expected to range between $24.00 – $35.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.
