Job Title: Service Dispatcher

Job Location: Southaven, MS (Greater Memphis Area)

Our Dispatcher is the heartbeat of our daily operation, connecting customers with the right technician, solving problems in real time, supporting our field team, and helping create an exceptional experience from the moment a customer calls until the job is complete.

Every scheduling decision impacts customer satisfaction, technician productivity, and company success. If you enjoy fast-paced environments, love solving puzzles, communicate with confidence, and take pride in helping a team succeed, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do

Every day is different, but your mission remains the same: help our customers, support our technicians, and keep the day moving forward.

As our Dispatcher (Customer Operations Coordinator), you will:

  • Coordinate and prioritize incoming service calls throughout the day.
  • Schedule and dispatch technicians based on skill set, customer needs, service priority, geography, and call type.
  • Match the right technician to the right job to maximize customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor technician progress throughout the day and make real-time scheduling adjustments as priorities change.
  • Manage schedule gaps, delays, emergency calls, and last-minute changes while maintaining productivity.
  • Communicate proactively with customers to provide arrival updates, set expectations, and build confidence in our service.
  • Partner closely with our Customer Service Representatives, Service Managers, and field technicians to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Help maximize booked calls by coordinating with the CSR team and identifying scheduling opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate schedules, customer information, and dispatch records in ServiceTitan.
  • Follow Nexstar dispatch best practices while continuously identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, technician utilization, and the overall customer experience.

What Makes Someone Successful Here?

The best dispatchers don’t simply react to the schedule—they stay several steps ahead.

You think proactively, communicate clearly, remain calm under pressure, and solve problems before they become emergencies. You’re naturally organized without becoming rigid, enjoy making decisions, and thrive in an environment where priorities can change quickly.

You understand that every customer interaction builds trust and every scheduling decision directly impacts technician success, customer satisfaction, and company performance.

Success Metrics

Your success will be measured by your ability to help drive operational excellence, including:

  • Dispatch efficiency and daily productivity
  • Technician utilization and schedule optimization
  • Same-day service completion
