As an Residential Electrical Installer you’ll be in the thick of it, installing, maintaining, inspecting and repairing electrical systems like a pro.

Responsibilities and Expectations

Technician Collaboration

  • Assist Lead Technicians with residential electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair

  • Perform work in accordance with company standards and the National Electrical Code (NEC)

Standards & Quality Control

  • Wear company-issued uniform and ID, at all times.

  • Use protective materials (boot covers, drop cloths, floor protection) to safeguard customer property

  • Keep work areas clean and organized

  • Double-check all work to prevent errors and callbacks

  • Take ownership of jobsite cleanliness and overall work quality

Customer Interaction & Professionalism

  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude on every job

  • Communicate clearly and courteously with customers

  • Explain work being performed and reinforce the company’s quality standards

  • Never recommend or sell unnecessary services or products

  • Address and resolve customer concerns promptly when possible

Communication & Teamwork

  • Maintain regular communication with the Manager or Dispatcher throughout the workday

  • Participate in company training meetings and skill development programs

  • Contribute positively to team culture and operational excellence

General Duties

  • Maintain truck stock, cleanliness, and organization

  • Follow all safety protocols on the job and while driving

  • Support overall company goals related to customer satisfaction and efficiency

Requirements

Experience

  • Technical or trade school coursework

  • Apprentice-level understanding of electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to learn quickly in a structured, supervised environment

  • Dependable, self-motivated, and adaptable

  • Able to work independently or as part of a team

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and maintain a valid driver’s license

  • Ability to pass a background check (inclusive of drug screening and MVR)

  • Ownership of required basic hand tools

Physical & Working Conditions

  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

  • Comfortable working around live electrical systems under supervision

  • Ability to wear required safety gear

  • Capable of climbing ladders, working on roofs and scaffolding

  • Able to work in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces

The compensation for this position is expected to range between $75,000 – $120,000 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.
