Plumbing Service Manager

Location: Lynnwood, WA

Work With Your Handz is partnering with a well-established, growth-oriented residential plumbing company in the greater Seattle area to find an experienced Plumbing Service Manager.

This organization has built its reputation on developing technicians from the ground up rather than relying solely on experienced hires. They’re seeking a servant leader who combines deep plumbing expertise with a passion for mentoring others, solving complex field challenges, and helping technicians succeed.

If you’re looking for a leadership opportunity where your technical knowledge is valued just as much as your ability to develop people, this is the role for you.

The Opportunity

As the Plumbing Service Manager, you’ll lead a dedicated team of approximately 5-8 service plumbers while serving as their technical coach, mentor, and field resource. Rather than spending your days behind a desk, you’ll work alongside technicians when needed, helping solve challenging plumbing situations, supporting customer interactions, and developing your team into elite service professionals.

This company believes great managers create great technicians—not through micromanagement, but through coaching, accountability, and support.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of residential plumbing technicians.

  • Serve as the primary technical resource for complex plumbing situations.

  • Provide field support by riding along with technicians when necessary.

  • Help technicians improve customer communication, diagnostics, and sales opportunities.

  • Maintain accountability for service quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Partner with leadership to achieve company revenue and performance goals.

  • Foster a positive, team-first culture built on trust and continuous improvement.

  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and developing future plumbing talent.

  • Support operational excellence while maintaining exceptional customer experiences.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of residential plumbing experience.

  • Previous leadership or management experience is preferred but not required.

  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills across residential plumbing systems.

  • Passion for mentoring and developing technicians.

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

  • High integrity with a collaborative, servant-leader mindset.

  • Comfortable utilizing technology and modern field management tools.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $90,000 Base Salary

  • Monthly performance bonus opportunities

  • 3% commission on qualifying sales support

  • Company vehicle

  • Company gas card

  • Company credit card

  • 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees AND their families

  • Automatic 3% employer-funded 401(k) contribution

  • Paid vacation

  • Paid holidays

  • Long-term service bonuses

  • Outstanding work-life balance

Schedule

Enjoy a unique 4-day work week (4/10 schedule) designed to promote work-life balance while ensuring exceptional customer support.

Managers rotate schedules, creating extended weekends throughout the year—including recurring five-day breaks.

Why This Opportunity?

This isn’t a turnaround or micromanagement environment. You’ll join a stable, growing organization that invests heavily in its people, believes in promoting from within, and gives leaders the autonomy to lead.

If you’re an experienced plumbing professional ready to make a lasting impact by developing technicians, improving operations, and helping a growing company continue its success, we’d love to hear from you.

The compensation for this position is expected to be $90,000. This is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.

We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other characteristic protected by law.

Employee(s) will be required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job-related duties requested by any person authorized to give instructions or assignments.

At Work With Your Handz, we specialize in connecting top-tier skilled trades professionals—electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and more—with the country’s leading residential service companies. Our mission is to bridge the skilled labor gap and help businesses grow through exceptional talent. As we expand, we’re seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team and drive new business opportunities.
