As a Residential Electrician with us, you’ll be playing a direct part in company profitability, operational efficiency, and delivering a best-in-class customer experience. We are seeking a self-starter who takes pride in quality workmanship, strong communicator, and consistently meets performance standards.

Responsibilities and Expectations

Electrical & Technical Execution

  • Install, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair existing residential electrical systems

  • Respond to services, perform planned maintenance, inspections, and new installations

  • Ensure all work complies with company standards and the National Electrical Code (NEC)

  • Verify all completed work to prevent errors and callbacks

Customer Experience & Sales

  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive demeanor on every job

  • Communicate clearly with customers before, during, and after work is performed

  • Build trust and clearly explain recommended services and their necessity. Never recommend or sell unnecessary services or products!

  • Present pricing using the Straight Forward Pricing Guide.

  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally

  • Deliver invoices and collect payment upon job completion

Standards & Professionalism

  • Wear company-issued uniform and ID, at all times.

  • Use protective materials (boot covers, drop cloths, floor protection) to safeguard customer property

  • Keep jobsites clean, safe, and organized

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles

Communication & Teamwork

  • Communicate daily with the Manager or CSR regarding job status, scheduling, and issues

  • Debrief with the office after each service call

  • Participate in ongoing training and team meetings

  • Contribute positively to team culture and operational excellence

  • Supervise and support other team members when required

Operational & Performance Expectations

  • Meet or exceed monthly revenue goals, conversion rates, and average ticket metrics

  • Maintain accurate truck inventory and material organization

  • Prioritize safety on the job and while driving

  • Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards

  • Maintain a professional image and respectful attitude at all times

Schedule

  • Full-time position

  • Some nights, weekends, on-call shifts, and overtime required

  • Flexible end times based on workload

  • Typical workdays usually conclude between 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM

Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum of four years of relevant electrical experience

  • Strong working knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Ability to pass random drug testing

  • Clean criminal background

  • Ownership of required tools

Physical & Working Conditions

  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

  • Comfortable working with tools and live electrical systems

  • Ability to wear required safety equipment

  • Capable of climbing ladders and working on roofs and scaffolding

  • Able to work in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces

The compensation for this position is expected to range between $75,000 – $120,000 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.
