Residential HVAC Installer

Location: Holland, MI

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a high-level, “Level 5” Residential HVAC Installer to join their tight-knit team in Holland, Michigan. This role focuses exclusively on high-end, complex residential new construction projects—specifically large custom homes ranging from 10,000 to 15,000 square feet featuring 2 to 4 forced-air systems.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Lead and execute complex, high-end residential new construction installations

  • Perform complete installation of complex forced-air systems using premium Bryant equipment.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, structural plans, and technical specifications.

  • Measure, size, and fabricate custom sheet metal ductwork on-site to ensure optimal airflow and precise fit.

  • Complete all line set installations, including soldering, brazing, and leak testing.

  • Manage daily job workflow, clocking, and project documentation using ServiceTitan.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment on every job site.

  • Communicate effectively with builders, general contractors, and internal team members.

  • Maintain and organize a company-provided take-home vehicle, inventory, and power tools.

Requirements

  • EPA Certification required.

  • Proven track record as a top-tier Residential HVAC Installer (Level 4/5 proficiency) with extensive residential new construction experience.

  • Demonstrated expertise installing 2 to 4 system setups in large custom residential builds.

  • Expert knowledge of forced-air systems, duct sizing, airflow dynamics, and on-site sheet metal fabrication.

  • Proficient in reading blueprints, soldering, brazing, and system startup procedures.

  • Self-motivated, independent worker comfortable taking full ownership of job sites.

  • Comfortable utilizing ServiceTitan for daily timekeeping and job management.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record (MVR).

  • Must provide basic hand tools, work boots, and work pants (specialty battery-operated/power tools are provided by the company).

What Can We Do for You?

  • Competitive Compensation: Top-of-market hourly rate of $35.00–$40.00/hour (based on experience), paid weekly via direct deposit.

  • Generous 75/25 split (company pays 75% of premiums) for Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage—applicable to both individual and family plans.

  • 3 weeks paid vacation starting Day 1 (increasing to 4 weeks after initial tenure), plus 7 paid holidays (including 1 floating holiday).

  • Take-home company service vehicle and a $10/week cell phone reimbursement.

  • $200/year uniform allowance; company provides hats, shirts, winter jackets, and all heavy/battery-operated power tools.

  • Small, tight-knit, family-oriented team with flexibility for family trips and personal time off. Includes annual team outings (Christmas party and summer events).

 

The base compensation for this position is expected to range between $35.00 – $40.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.
