Key Responsibilities
As an HVAC Maintenance Technician, you’ll help homeowners keep their heating and cooling systems operating safely and efficiently while delivering outstanding customer experience.
- Perform preventative maintenance on residential heating and cooling systems
- Inspect equipment for proper operation and identify potential issues before they become major repairs
- Clean and replace filters, coils, and other system components
- Lubricate moving parts and complete routine maintenance procedures
- Diagnose minor mechanical or electrical issues and complete necessary repairs
- Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and local code requirements
- Accurately document inspections, maintenance performed, repairs completed, and recommended services
- Educating homeowners on system performance, maintenance recommendations, and energy-saving opportunities
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a clean and professional manner
- Deliver exceptional customer service while representing the company with professionalism
- Work collaboratively with office staff and fellow technicians
What We Need From You
- 2+ years of recent Residential HVAC Maintenance field experience.
- A valid Florida driver’s license is required.
- EPA certification is required.
- Required experience working in different types of home setups and spaces — including attics, garages, closets, and both indoor and outdoor equipment. Comfortable installing a variety of system styles and layouts.
- Required experience in maintenance processes, understanding readings, and different types of refrigerant components.
- Experience with high/low voltage wiring.
- Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
- Service Titan experience is a plus
- Ability to successfully pass a background check & drug test.
- A great attitude, strong work ethic, and a customer-first mindset.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and ready to hit the ground running.
The compensation for this position is fully commission based and expected to range between $18 – $21 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.
