Job Title: HVAC Sales Technician

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Service Technician to join our team in Englewood. This is a hybrid role that combines technical expertise with strong communication and sales abilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing technical HVAC services while actively identifying and pursuing opportunities to upsell and offer additional services to our customers, thereby increasing revenue per ticket.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and complex HVAC technical services and maintenance.

Proactively identify customer needs and recommend additional services and products, such as UV lights, garage insulation, or mini-splits, during service calls.

Effectively communicate and explain technical options and benefits to customers, ensuring they understand the value of recommended services.

Leverage existing maintenance agreements to maximize upselling opportunities.

Contribute to increasing the average revenue per service ticket.
Qualifications:

Valid EPA license.

Minimum of four (4) years of residential HVAC experience; exceptional candidates with three (3) years of residential HVAC experience will be considered.

Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency with Carrier and York equipment is highly preferred.

A strong understanding of sales principles and a proactive approach to customer service.
Compensation: This position offers competitive compensation, including an hourly rate plus commission. The starting hourly rate for candidates with some experience is expected to be $22-$34 per hour, with potential for up to $34+ per hour for highly experienced individuals.

The compensation for this position is expected to be a base hourly range of $22 – $34 per hour. This is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.
