Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management:

    • Directly supervise and manage HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical technicians and other team members, fostering a high-performance, customer-focused culture.

    • Strategically schedule and coordinate maintenance, repair, and installation projects to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.

    • Ensure all projects are executed flawlessly, meeting deadlines, staying within budget, and adhering to our commitment to quality.

  • System Oversight:

    • Oversee the performance of HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical systems, ensuring optimal efficiency, reliability, and compliance with all applicable regulations.

    • Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve complex system issues, minimizing disruption and maximizing uptime.

    • Manage system upgrades and replacements, ensuring seamless transitions and incorporating the latest technological advancements.

  • Client and Vendor Relations:

    • Cultivate and maintain strong, enduring relationships with our clients, proactively addressing their needs and ensuring their complete satisfaction.

    • Negotiate contracts with vendors and effectively manage vendor relationships for equipment and supplies, optimizing costs and ensuring timely delivery.

  • Compliance and Safety:

    • Champion a safety-first culture by ensuring strict adherence to all safety standards and local, state, and federal regulations.

    • Conduct thorough safety inspections and provide ongoing training to staff on industry best practices, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

  • Financial Management:

    • Develop and manage budgets, closely monitoring expenses and identifying opportunities to enhance profitability.

    • Drive financial performance by developing and implementing cost-saving strategies, without compromising the exceptional quality of our services.

  • Team Leadership:

    • Build and lead a high-performing team by effectively hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.

    • Cultivate a positive, collaborative, and results-oriented work environment that fosters teamwork, engagement, and professional growth.

What We Need From You:

  • A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience, with a proven track record of successfully overseeing day-to-day operations within residential HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical service and installation.

  • Demonstrated success in achieving consistent year-over-year business growth.

  • Experience with full oversight of businesses with annual revenues ranging from $5 Million to $100 Million.

  • A demonstrated ability to effectively lead and inspire teams, driving them to achieve strategic objectives and contribute to overall company success.

  • Strong technical expertise in HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical systems, including a deep understanding of repairs, maintenance, and installations.

  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on developing and empowering team members.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

  • Proven project management expertise, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

  • Familiarity with home services software and tools, such as Service Titan.
