Job Title: Electrical Service Manager
Location: Landsdowne, PA

Position Summary: The Electrical Service Manager will be a key leader in our growing electrical division, responsible for managing a team of electricians, driving revenue, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This role requires a hands-on manager with significant electrical experience who can provide technical support to the team and maintain high standards of accountability. The ideal candidate will be a sales-driven, metric-focused individual eager to contribute to the strategic growth of the department.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a team of approximately five electricians.

Oversee and be accountable for the electrical department’s performance, including revenue generation, profitability, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Provide technical support and guidance to electricians in the field, reducing the need for upper management intervention.

Ensure technicians accurately and thoroughly document job details, including equipment ages and relevant information, into the CRM for strategic targeting of older systems.

Drive initiatives for service calls, maintenance, and upsells, focusing on “chasing big tickets.”

Implement and enforce accountability measures to ensure technicians adhere to company policies and performance standards.

Maintain a firm but fair leadership style, fostering a productive team environment without blurring professional boundaries.

Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and growth within the electrical department.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

At least 5 years of hands-on electrical experience.

Proven experience managing people and teams (5+ direct reports).

A revenue-driven leader with demonstrated KPI accountability.

Experience in residential electrical service environments.

Demonstrated ability to hold technicians accountable for performance and documentation.

Comfortable driving revenue while protecting job margins.

Understanding of KPIs and how to effectively utilize them to drive performance.

Growth-oriented mindset, with a desire to expand and develop the department.
Preferred Skills/Experience:

Familiarity with CRM-driven service environments.

Experience scaling teams and adding headcount.
Technology/System Requirements:
-
Familiarity with Service Titan.

Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel.

Experience with Google-based systems.
Work Schedule:
-
Typically, onsite by approximately 6:45 AM and leaves around 3:30–4:00 PM depending on current tasks.

Requires availability for on-call support to answer technician questions from the field (no calls past 8:00 PM). This is not a 24/7 role but requires flexibility for extended shifts as needed for late call tickets.
Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive base salary of $115,000–$120,000 (OTE: ~$160,000–$170,000+ with significant bonus potential based on hitting goals and KPIs.

Estimator-only experience without direct management and accountability for service teams.

Lack of understanding or ownership of KPIs and performance goals.

Managed the same-size team for years with no demonstrated growth.

The compensation for this position is expected to range between $115,000 – $120,000 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.
