Job Title: HVAC Service Technician
We are a 3rd and 4th generation, family-owned plumbing and HVAC company proudly serving Midland and West Texas. With deep community roots and a reputation for reliability, quality workmanship, and integrity, we provide residential and commercial plumbing services — including trenchless pipe repair, sewer replacements, and 24/7 emergency response.
They are seeking reliable and experienced HVAC Service Technicians to join their team. Potential candidates must be capable of quickly and accurately diagnosing and repairing a variety of HVAC systems. This is a high-volume role requiring flexibility, strong technical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to our team environment. Only those with prior residential HVAC experience will be considered.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Accurately and quickly diagnose system failures and correctly perform repairs on residential and commercial HVAC systems.
- Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration, heating, and air conditioning systems.
- Capable of independently performing the entire installation process to collaborate with team members to make sure the job is done efficiently with no callbacks.
- Ensure efficient material usage and maintain sufficient equipment stock.
- Be responsive and productive in a team environment, focusing on efficient and high-quality service delivery.
- Apply great customer service skills to build rapport, communicate solutions clearly, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Daily coordination and cooperation with management, dispatch, and customer service teams to maintain smooth operations.
- Must have a strong work ethic, be self-organized, and understand service call priorities in a high-volume environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of prior residential and commercial HVAC field experience is required
- Must have EPA Universal
- Must have a strong knowledge of HVAC systems and the ability to repair them correctly
- Must be willing and able to participate in the required on-call rotation
- Must be able to lift 55 lbs. plus when required.
- Must have a clean driver’s license. This is a drug-free environment, and successful applicants must be able to pass a drug screening.
- Must be reliable and a clean-cut professional who takes pride in your work.
