Responsibilities of our next HVAC Service Technician:
- Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts and installation teams
- Repairs air conditioning, heating, control systems, along with humidity and temperature control systems for residential customers
- Provides preventative maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
- Build strong customer relationships; build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs/expectations.
- Performs timely and quality repairs in resolving customer complaints
- Troubleshoot and repair all electrical and mechanical components of HVAC equipment
- Keep your company truck clean, inside and out
- Keep your truck inventory up to date
- Properly complete paperwork
- Maintaining a clean and professional appearance
- Educating and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans
Responsibilities for the HVAC Materials Handler:
Materials Staging: Efficiently prepare, organize, and stage HVAC materials and equipment for installation, repair, and maintenance projects, following project specifications and work orders. You’ll be provided with a list of materials for each project, which you’ll pull and organize for the team to pick up.
Inventory Management: Receive incoming material shipments and verify that they match the placed order. Maintain accurate records of HVAC materials and equipment inventory, promptly notifying the manager of low supplies to ensure an adequate stock of materials.
Quality Control: Thoroughly inspect incoming HVAC materials for damages, defects, and accuracy. Report any discrepancies to the appropriate parties for resolution and ensure only quality materials are utilized in projects.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols when handling and staging HVAC materials. Foster a safe working environment and promptly report any safety concerns.
Collaboration: Work closely with managers and technicians to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate material needs and resolve any issues that may arise.
Efficiency Enhancement: Continuously evaluate and improve the materials staging process to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Implement best practices and suggest process improvements to streamline operations.
Equipment Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and organizing tools and equipment used in the staging process, ensuring they are in good working condition and readily available when needed.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of materials staged, utilized, and returned for accurate inventory tracking.
