HVAC Operations Manager

As the HVAC Operations Manager, success involves ensuring smooth operations, leading and holding a team accountable to daily revenue goals, and using your business acumen to drive growth. You will also be expected to prioritize tasks effectively, contribute meaningfully to team meetings, and maintain a clear vision for growth that aligns with our company’s goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the HVAC service department, including scheduling, dispatching, and completion of service calls.

Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of technicians and apprentices, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and excellence.

Collaborate with the executive team to shape strategic direction and provide leadership to the plumbing, HVAC, and electrical departments.

Support team leads in managing field operations staff and implementing best practices.

Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and quality standards.

Monitor customer satisfaction and implement strategies to enhance service delivery.

Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize profitability.
-
Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally.

Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) and behaviors to achieve business objectives.

Manage both the service and maintenance departments, as well as the installation department.
What We Need From You:

Minimum 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience

Proven technical knowledge in the HVAC industry is highly preferred

Strong analytical abilities, adept at transforming financial and operational data into actionable strategic insights.

A skilled leader capable of assembling and guiding a successful team.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, proficient in fostering relationships with employees, customers, and stakeholders.

Familiarity with Service Titan (or other FMS) software is preferred, but tech-savvy is necessary.

High level of organizational oversight and ability to see the big picture.

Expertise in using data to make decisions and drive revenue.

Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

A strong vision for personal and team growth, with the ability to align it to company goals.
