Key Responsibilities
As a RNC Electrical Service Punch-Out Technician, you will be the final guardian of electrical quality for new homes, ensuring every project is perfectly completed. Your daily responsibilities include:

Reviewing residential new construction project punch lists to meticulously ensure all electrical tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Inspecting newly installed electrical systems in residential properties for strict compliance with blueprints, job specifications, NEC code, and critical safety standards.

Identifying and expertly repairing deficiencies such as missing covers, incomplete terminations, faulty connections, or improperly installed fixtures/devices within new homes.

Performing precise minor adjustments or corrections to ensure full functionality of outlets, switches, lighting, breakers, and other electrical components in residential settings.

Collaborating seamlessly with electricians, general contractors, and site supervisors on residential construction sites to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.

Maintaining an immaculately clean and safe work area, ensuring all work performed in residential new construction adheres to the highest company standards.

Accurately documenting completed tasks and clearly communicating job status to supervisors or project leads for residential projects.

Preparing residential job sites for final electrical inspections and providing essential assistance during walk-throughs if needed.

Operating hand tools, testing devices, and company equipment safely and responsibly to achieve flawless results in new residential builds.
What We’re Looking For

Foundation & Experience: Successfully complete a background check and drug screen. Possess 2+ years of experience in electrical installation or construction punch-out work, with a strong preference for residential new construction.

Blueprint Mastery: Demonstrate a strong ability to accurately read blueprints and electrical schematics specific to residential construction.

Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with safely and effectively using power tools in various residential new construction applications.

Problem-Solving & Precision: Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of residential electrical work.

Efficiency & Independence: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks within a fast-paced residential new construction environment.

Eligibility & Driving: Be at least 18 years of age. Eligible to legally work in the United States. Always maintain a valid driver’s license for at least 15 months, and be able to meet FCCI auto guidelines to operate a company-owned vehicle.
