Job Title: HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities and Expectations:

Expertly diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide variety of residential HVAC systems, encompassing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment.

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with residential HVAC systems, pinpointing the root cause of malfunctions and proposing effective, upfront pricing solutions to the customer.

Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to uphold optimal system performance and prevent potential problems.

Interact with customers professionally and courteously, addressing their concerns, explaining repair options, and suggesting system improvements and maintenance plans.

Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, detailing equipment status, repairs conducted, parts utilized, and time allocated for each job.

Remain informed about industry advancements, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually enhance technical expertise and knowledge; Nexstar training is a strong plus.

Participate in the on-call rotation schedule to address emergency service needs.
Requirements:
-
Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in residential HVAC service and repair.

A current and valid EPA Certification is required.

Proficient in diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC systems with strong technical skills.

ServiceTitan and iPad experience is required.

Clean driving record is required (to meet company insurance requirements and operate a company vehicle).

Solid knowledge of HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work in various settings, including attics and crawl spaces.

Physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds.
-
Ability to work on call.

Competitive Compensation: $28.00 – $32.00/hr DOE plus spiffs with On-Target Earnings (OTE) up to $150,000

The compensation for this position is expected to range between $28.00 – $32.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.
