The Residential Service Plumber is responsible for expertly performing a full range of residential plumbing services within a tight local service radius. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong customer service skills, driving high customer satisfaction and leveraging their expertise for maximum earning potential.
Responsibilities and Expectations

Expertly perform a full range of residential plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations across all residential systems.

Diagnose issues with pinpoint accuracy across all plumbing systems, including fixtures, water piping, drainage, and hot water heaters.

Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls and efficiently troubleshoot urgent plumbing problems.

Provide transparent estimates and clearly communicate service recommendations to customers, ensuring they understand the work required.

Ensure compliance with all local and state plumbing codes and safety regulations on every job.

Maintain company tools and equipment, ensuring they are in safe working order at all times.

Accurately record work performed and materials used for all jobs via company systems.
Requirements

REQUIRED Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a residential Service Plumber.

Must possess strong communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.

Proficiency with all standard plumbing tools, equipment, methods, and codes.

Must demonstrate high accountability, possess a low ego, be coachable, and maintain a strong communicator approach.

Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, including lifting equipment, kneeling, and working safely in confined spaces.

Possesses the basic set of hand tools required for a professional Service Plumber role.

High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or plumbing certification preferred.

Valid Driver’s License required. Must maintain a clean driving record.

Must be a team player with an upbeat/positive attitude.

Prior Nexstar training is a huge plus.

The base compensation for this position is expected to range between $25.00 to $50.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.
