Job Title: Residential Sales Install Electrician

With continued growth, we’re seeking an experienced Residential Sales Install Electrician to join our exceptional team and grow with us.
Position Overview:
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for all things residential including sales and installations of EV chargers and other electrical services and products. This role will handle installation and wiring repair calls, service upgrades, service replacements, and lighting jobs. Additionally, you’ll play a vital role in supervising and training apprentices on the job.
Responsibilities:
- Provide consultative electrical services to homeowners, diagnosing issues and recommending appropriate solutions, upgrades, or improvements
- Inspect, test, and troubleshoot residential electrical systems and components
- Heavy focus on soft skills like communication, sales, and attitude.
- Perform installations, repairs, service upgrades, service replacements, and lighting work
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and safety
- Accurately estimate project costs and timelines while identifying sales opportunities
- Complete all work in compliance with the National Electrical Code and applicable state and local regulations
- Maintain accurate digital documentation, including photos of completed work and materials used
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Supervise, mentor, and train apprentices in the field
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Four (4) or more years experience in the electrical trade preferred
- Sales-driven individual with minimum of 2 years in a sales-driven electrical company preferred
- Completion of an electrical program at a technical or trade school preferred
- Demonstrable knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Persuasive communication skills to influence client decisions and promote additional services
- Valid driver’s license and residency in the Greater St. Louis area
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $22-$45 per hour plus commissions; commensurate with experience

The compensation for this position is expected to range between $22.00 – $45.00 per hour plus commission. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.
